Undergraduate GAP Students Launch FME Businesses

The 2017 GAP class recently launched their FME businesses at Barefoot Park.Babson’s GAP (Grow, Achieve, Prepare) enrollment optiongrants incoming students the ability to explore their passions, while participating in a GAP semester. To abide to the traditional four-year graduation track, these students take a semester’s worth of classes during the summer. As a result, their FME businesses are launched in July.

In Babson’s award-winning flagship courseFME (Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship)约,学生被分配到团队20 students. FME, an internationally recognized yearlong immersion into the business world, gives students the basic business background and real-world context needed for their Babson courses and future careers. During the first semester, students prepare a launch plan, request funding from the college and create internal documents. In the second semester, students are well equipped to launch their venture and begin distribution.
