Video Profile: Imran Khoja of Designed Good

Earlier this spring, Cheryl Kiser sat down with social entrepreneur Imran Khoja to discuss his new business, Designed Good. She starts by setting the business specifics aside and focusing on how he as an individual could take the business from idea to reality.

Imran shares how he came to see social enterprise as the only type of business worth doing, the criteria he uses to evaluate potential products for his marketplace, and how he cultivated relationships with over 70 brands since the business’ launch in September 2012. He also talks about where his challenges have been, the universal understandings that have come out of those challenges, and the realization that you can’t wait until you have all the answers to start because you’re never going to have all the answers.
