Summer Catalyst Kickoff in San Francisco
This week, we are excited to kick off Babson’sSummer Catalyst Programin San Francisco with 6 teams of entrepreneurs. TheSummer Catalyst Programis a 10 week pre-accelerator experience that offers co-working space, mentors, and guidance to help early-stage/seed-level entrepreneurs develop their startups. Throughout the summer, they will be working among like-minded entrepreneurs in the most innovative startup ecosystem in the world!
Our Summer Catalyst community consists of a diverse range of Babson entrepreneurs: 4 undergraduate, 1 graduate, and 1 MBA alumni team. Likewise, they represent a spectrum of industries including tech/mobile, social venture, food/beverage, and service.
Here’s a brief descriptions of each Summer Catalyst team:

Futurespanis an HR platform that facilitates the application of stretch assignments within an organization
Guiltless Snacksaims to free the healthy consumer from the compromise between healthy snacking and indulgence
LOUis a web assistant that teaches while you work
Roois a AI-powered app that learns travel patterns to help travelers discover, plan, and book their trips
Skippit LLCis a dating platform that uses video-voice interaction to fix the problems other apps have
Summer Catalyst is directed byElliott Adamswho started with Babson as an advisor for Summer Venture Program in 2016. Elliott brings years of experience as an advisor to startup founders at Techstars Startup Next and Startup Weekend, an entrepreneurship faculty at Loyola University in New Orleans and Hult International Business School, and author ofThe Startup Mixtape.
Contrary Summer Program @ Babson San Francisco
This summer, we are joined at Babson San Francisco byContrary Capitalwhich brings world-class capital and mentorship to university entrepreneurs everywhere. Contrary is backed by found members from Facebook, Tesla, Reddit, Twitch, SoFi, MuleSoft, and others. Entrepreneurs from theContrary Summer Programwill be spending the summer co-working at Babson SF with Summer Catalyst participants.
