Black Affinity Conference at beplay官网体育Babson
On April 5th and April 6th,我参加了Black Affinity Conference在巴布beplay官网体育森。This is a series of panels and networking events in which Black alumni can interact with current Black students on campus.I learned that beplay官网体育Babson has over 500 Black alumni and counting.Through the speeches of our alumni,I realized that beplay官网体育Babson has greatly diversified over the course of 20 years in regards to the Black community.Some of our Black alumni mentioned that in the early 90's,there were only four black students on campus.现在每个班有四个以上的黑人学生和越来越多样化的教师。然而，正如施莱辛格总统所指出的，beplay官网体育Babson has a long way to go;but has made some impressive improvements as far as ethnic diversity.这次会议促使我更多地参与到通过加入诸如beplay官网体育Babson Black Students UnionandOrigins of Necessary Equalityas well as reaching out to the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.Furthermore,participating as overnight hosts in the experience diversity program is a great way to show prospective students the diverse atmosphere that beplay官网体育Babson has developed.Overall,我很高兴能与校友们联系，了解到在未来四年里，我如何能更多地参与到巴布森大学校园的多元化建设中。beplay官网体育
